Friends Caterers

Friends Caterers is a small operation located on Francis Road in Calicut. A few of us who have been friends for a long time decided to start this together because we all had some experience with cooking and serving food. We do not have a boss in the traditional sense. We all just jump in and do whatever is needed on that day. Sometimes I am the one doing the shopping at the market, and other times I am helping with the cleaning. We take on all sorts of jobs, from small family dinners to larger public events. Francis Road is a busy area, so there is always a lot of noise and movement around our place. Our kitchen is not fancy, but it is clean and we have everything we need to make good meals. We do not buy pre-made spice mixes. We grind everything ourselves because it makes the food taste more authentic. We do not have a marketing budget or a website. Most of our business comes from the neighborhood and people who live nearby. We try to keep our prices reasonable because we know that everyone is trying to save money these days. It is not always easy with the way prices for ingredients go up and down, but we do our best to keep things steady. We just want to be a reliable choice for the local community.
