Capsicum Catering Services

Our kitchen is over on Malaparamba Golf Link Road. Capsicum Catering Services has been operating out of this part of Malaparamba in Kozhikode for some time. It's a busy road, especially during the mornings. We spend most of our hours prepping and getting things ready for whatever event is next on the calendar. The space isn't huge, but we make it work for us. You can usually find us there early, even before the sun is fully up. We like the quiet of the morning before the traffic starts picking up on Golf Link Road. There's a lot of chopping and cooking that goes on behind those doors. We don’t really have a front desk or anyone to answer phones all day. Most of the time, our hands are busy with pots and pans. It gets pretty warm in the kitchen, but that's just how it is. We've lived in Kozhikode all our lives, so we know how people like things done. We don't try to be anything we're not. It’s just food and hard work. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic when three orders come in at once, but we manage to get through it. We keep our supplies tucked away in the back area. It’s a straightforward setup. We don't bother with fancy decorations in the shop. We're more worried about the heat of the stove and getting the timing right for the deliveries. The floor gets slippery so we are always mopping. It's a lot of physical labor but we don't mind it much.
