Chandus Catering

Chandus Catering is based right in Karikkamkulam, over in the Karapparambu area. It’s a decent spot to work from. We’ve been here long enough that the neighbors don’t mind the noise of the vans coming and going. The building itself is nothing much to talk about, just a place where we get the cooking done. We use basic equipment and stick to what we know. Every morning starts with the same routine of checking the stoves and making sure the crates are clean. It’s a lot of manual labor, lifting heavy bags and moving things around. We don't have a fancy office or a secretary. If the phone rings, whoever is closest picks it up, usually with flour on their hands. Karapparambu has changed a bit over the years, but we’re still doing things the same way. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just focus on the orders we have for the week. Sometimes we run out of space when a big order comes in, so we have to get creative with how we stack the containers and boxes. It’s just a few of us working together. We know the streets around here pretty well by now. We try to stay out of the way of the main traffic when we can. It’s a regular job for us, and we’re glad to be part of the local scene here in Karikkamkulam. We don't do anything fancy, just standard daily chores to keep the place running. It’s tired work but it feels good at the end of the day.
