Chillies Caters

We’re located over at Chillies Caters in the Koyilandi Bazar area, specifically near Kollam in Kozhikode. The bazaar is always moving, and we’re right in the thick of it. It’s a lively place to have a business. Our shop isn't very large, so we have to be very organized with where we put everything. We spend a lot of time just moving boxes and making sure we have what we need for the next day. The local market is right there, which makes things a bit easier for us when we need to pick up something quick. We don't have a big corporate team or anything. It's just a few local folks who know how to handle a kitchen. Some days the heat in the bazaar is really something, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. We’ve seen a lot of businesses come and go in Koyilandi, but we’ve managed to stay put. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Usually, people just see us working or hear about us from someone else in the neighborhood. It's a simple operation. We like being in Kozhikode because it's where we grew up. The work is hard and the hours are long, but it’s what we know. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to keep our workspace as tidy as we can. There is always a lot of washing up to do at the end of the shift. We just grab the soap and get to it.
