Sun Flower Restaurant

Being right on Station Road in Kota means there is a lot of noise and movement all the time. Our restaurant is just a short walk from the Kota Junction, so we see a lot of people coming and going from the trains. The Atlas Cinema is also right nearby, which brings in a different crowd in the evenings. It is a busy spot, and it can get pretty dusty with all the traffic outside. We are not a fancy place with white tablecloths or anything like that. We have basic tables and chairs where people can sit down and get a meal without waiting too long. In the summer, the heat in Rajasthan is something else, so we try to keep the fans running full speed. The kitchen stays busy from morning till late at night. Sometimes we run out of certain items if a big group comes in from a delayed train, but that is just how it goes here. The staff has been with us for a bit, and they know how to handle the rush. You will hear the sounds of the station announcements in the background sometimes. It is a practical place for a quick bite or a proper lunch. We focus on getting the food out hot. It is not about the decor, it is about the people who need a break from their journey. We have seen Kota change a lot over the years, but Station Road always stays this way.
