Royal Firdous Non Veg & Veg Restaurant

If you are walking near the Aerodram Circle on Dcm Road, you might see our sign. We are up on the first floor at number 10. It’s a bit of a climb but the view of the street is alright. We do both veg and non-veg here because that’s what people ask for. Some days the kitchen is more crowded with tandoors going and other days it’s mostly dal and rice. Being in Kota, we get a lot of students who are tired of their hostel food. They come in looking for something that tastes a bit better. We’ve been at this location for a while. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint but the stove never stops. It’s a family-run thing mostly. My brother handles the billing while I look after the supplies. We buy our meat and vegetables fresh from the market every morning. It’s a lot of work getting everything up to the first floor. Sometimes the fans make a bit of noise but nobody seems to mind once the food arrives. We don’t have any big posters or fancy menus. We just tell people what we cooked for the day. It’s a simple life here on Dcm Road. We just want to make sure nobody goes home hungry. We stay open pretty late to catch the dinner crowd coming from the circle.
