Palkiya Haveli

Palkiya Haveli is situated on Kaithooni Pole Road in the Mokha Para area of Kota. We are quite close to Suraj Pole, which is a busy landmark in the 324006 neighborhood. This is an old part of the city, so the roads are narrow and the buildings are packed tightly together. Our place is an old family house that has been used for guests for a long time. It is full of little hallways and stairs that can be a bit confusing if you aren't used to them. We spend a lot of our time doing maintenance, like touching up the paint on the balconies or fixing a leaky tap in one of the rooms. It is a very hands-on job. We don't have a big staff, so you might see the same person checking you in and then helping with the cleaning later. It is not a shiny new hotel; it has its quirks, like doors that stick a bit in the humidity. We don't do any big promotions. Most of our guests find us through word of mouth or by just stumbling upon the haveli while exploring the old town. It is a quiet life for the most part, though the street outside can get a bit loud with scooters and local vendors. We just try to keep the rooms comfortable and handle the day-to-day tasks that come with running an old building like this.
