Maheshwari Garden Restaurant

We are located out on National Highway 12, right on Bundi Road in Kota. If you are looking for us, we are near the Ganesh Mandir in Ganeshpal. Being a garden restaurant means we have a bit more space than the places downtown. It is nice to have the open air, especially in the evenings when it cools down a bit. We started this place as part of the Maheshwari Resort, but the restaurant has its own life. It is a lot of work keeping up with a garden and a kitchen at the same time. We get a lot of families coming in on the weekends because the kids have space to move around. It is not a formal place at all. You just come in, find a table, and eat. We deal with the heat of Rajasthan like everyone else, so the evening time is when we really get busy. The staff is mostly local guys from around Kota who know the area well. We serve the kind of food we grew up with. Sometimes things are a bit slow when we have a big crowd, but we do our best to keep up. It is just a family-run operation. We put out the tables, keep the garden tidy, and cook. If you are driving down the highway and need a break, we are right there by the temple. It is a simple, honest spot for a meal for anyone passing through.
