Five Star Tent House

At Five Star Tent House, we spend most of our time out on Kaithun Road or traveling to different spots around Nayapura. The name sounds a bit grand, but the reality is just a lot of sweat and heavy lifting. We have piles of carpets that need beating and long stretches of decorative cloth that always seem to need a bit of a mend. Our storage space is crowded with metal frames and lighting wires that we try to keep from getting tangled. Every day is different depending on who needs what. One day it’s a small gathering and the next it’s a big function that requires every pole we own. The sun can be really harsh when you’re out in an open field trying to get the height of a tent right. We usually have tea a few times a day to keep going. The traffic on the road outside is always humming, and sometimes it’s a struggle to get the truck out of the gate when things are busy. We don’t really do much advertising because the work speaks for itself when people see the tents up in their neighborhood. It’s a lot of physical work, and by the end of the day, my back usually aches, but that’s just how this business is. We focus on getting the poles in the ground and the fabric stretched tight so everything looks right for the evening. It’s not fancy, but it is honest work.
