Bombay Tent House

Setting up for events is hard work, and that is what we do here at Bombay Tent House. We are located near the Kewal Nagar area, right off the NH-12 highway. My yard is full of iron poles, heavy canvas sheets, and stacks of plastic chairs. Most of our work happens outdoors, under the hot sun or late at night. When there is a wedding or a local function, we load everything onto the old truck and head out. The fabric for the tents gets dirty easily, so we are always washing and drying things when the weather allows. It's a messy business with ropes and pegs everywhere. My laborers have been with me for a while, and they know the drill. We don't have a fancy office; just a small room where I keep the bookings and take phone calls. Sometimes a client wants something very specific that we don't have, and I have to go find it in the city. The industrial area can be quite dusty, which isn't great for the bright decorative cloths. We just do our best to keep things looking decent for the customers. It’s physically tiring, and my joints ache after a long day of hammering stakes into the ground. But seeing a big colorful tent standing tall at the end of the day feels alright. It’s honest work that keeps us moving.
