A One Fire Works

A One Fire Works is tucked away in the Bajaj Khana Ghanta Ghar area. It’s a very old part of the city, very crowded. You have to navigate through some narrow spots to get to us. We’ve been here quite a while. Fireworks are a seasonal thing mostly, but we stay busy with various events throughout the year. The shop isn't very large. We have to be careful with how we store everything, obviously. Safety is just a routine thing for us now. The Ghanta Ghar area is always full of life and noise, which fits a fireworks shop I guess. We aren't trying to be the biggest seller in the world. We just want to be the local spot people trust when a celebration comes up. Sometimes the shop feels a bit cramped when we get a big shipment in. We just stack things up and work around them. It is a family-run kind of vibe here. We know the other shopkeepers in Bajaj Khana. We help each other out when someone needs a hand moving something heavy. It's a tight community. We don't do fancy marketing. People just know we are near the clock tower and they find their way. We open the shutters, sweep the front, and wait for the day to start. It’s honest work. We have been here for years and hope to stay right here in Bajaj Khana.
