Annapurna Tent House

Annapurna Tent House is situated near the Balakund Choraha at Kota Junction, right in the Vasant Vihar area. We’ve been setting up tents and seating for events for quite a while now. It’s a lot of heavy lifting. We have stacks of metal pipes, rolls of colorful fabric, and hundreds of plastic chairs stored in our warehouse. When someone has a wedding or a big party, my team and I load everything onto a truck and head out. We spend hours setting up the structures and making sure the carpets are laid out right. It’s exhausting work, and we’re often working late into the night or very early in the morning. The fabric often gets stained or torn, so we spend our downtime cleaning and mending things. We don't have a fancy website or a big office. Most of our business comes from people in Vasant Vihar who just know where we are. We handle the basic needs for any gathering, like lights and fans too. Sometimes the weather doesn't cooperate and we have to rush to fix things during a storm. It’s a stressful business at times, but it’s what we do. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Kota. We just want to make sure the tents stay up and people have a place to sit during their functions. It keeps us busy all year round, except during the peak monsoon.
