We use P.O. Box 162 for our mail and most of our official stuff for Irp. It’s a bit different because we don’t have a big storefront where people just walk in off the street. We tend to do a lot of our work through the post and over the phone. It keeps things simple and low-key. We’ve been operating this way for a while now, and it seems to work out okay for the kind of stuff we handle. Most of our morning is spent checking for messages or going down to see what came in the mail. It’s a small operation, just a few of us making sure everything stays on track. We don’t have a lot of overhead, which is nice. Sometimes it gets a bit quiet, but then a whole bunch of work will arrive at once and we’re busy for days. We don't really go for anything flashy. Our focus is just on the tasks at hand. It’s honest work, even if it’s mostly done behind the scenes. We like the flexibility this setup gives us. Even though we’re listed with a box number, we’re real people on the other end. We just prefer to keep our workspace private so we can focus. It might seem a bit old-fashioned to some, but it works for us and our regulars know how to reach us when they need to. It is just the way we like to do things around here. It keeps the stress down and lets us get on with our day without too many distractions.
