Century Polymers

Down in East Kallada, near Kollam, you’ll find us working away at Century Polymers. We’ve been in this spot for quite a while, and most of the people around here know us. We work with plastics, mostly making parts and containers that people use every day. The factory isn't huge, but we have our machines packed in pretty tight. It gets loud when everything is running at once, and there's always that specific smell of warm plastic in the air. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It's just us and a few workers from the village nearby. We spend a lot of time checking the molds and making sure the cooling water is running right. Some days the power goes out, which is a real pain, but we just wait it out and start back up again. It’s a simple life out here in this part of Kollam. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make good products that don't break. The office is just a small room at the front with a desk and a few chairs. We usually have the radio playing in the background to keep things lively. People stop by to pick up their orders in their own trucks. It’s steady, honest work that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday, and we’re happy to keep it that way.
