This office is located in the Sodepur area, specifically at Ghola D Block near Ghola Bazar in Kolkata. It is connected to the University of Calcutta, but we operate out of this specific address which feels more like a local residence than a big institution. Prasenjit Kundu and Asit Chakroborty are the ones usually here, and they spend their time handling the various paperwork and student matters that come through the door. It isn't like the grand, historic university buildings you might see in the center of the city. This is more of a practical spot for people in the Sodepur area to deal with their university tasks without traveling so far. The office itself is small and usually filled with stacks of files, old registers, and printed forms. We spend a lot of our time checking over details and answering simple questions for students who live in the surrounding neighborhoods. It is a bit tucked away in the lanes, so you really have to look for the house once you get to Ghola Bazar. The atmosphere here is quite informal compared to the main campus. We have old ceiling fans that creak a bit, and there is almost always some tea being shared while we work. It is just a necessary part of the university system, helping to manage things away from the main hub. We just keep the records moving and try to help anyone who walks in.
