Umaa International

Our workplace is situated in Shrachi Village, which is part of the Madhyamgram area in the North 24 Parganas district. It is a bit of a quieter location compared to the middle of Kolkata, which we actually quite like. We have been operating Umaa International from here for some time. Despite the fancy name, we are just a regular group of people doing our work every day. We handle a lot of supply and trading tasks from this site. The building is more of a warehouse and a basic office than anything else. We don’t spend much on making things look polished or corporate. We just focus on the logistics of moving goods and keeping our records straight. Most of our team lives around Madhyamgram, so we have a good local feel to the place. We don't have a big marketing department or any slogans. We just rely on the contacts we have built up over the years and the people who know we do a decent job. Sometimes the work gets a bit overwhelming with all the orders, but we just take it one step at a time. It’s a family-style environment here where everyone knows what they need to do.
