Rama Overseas Ltd.

Over at 5/1D Tiljala Road in Kolkata, that’s where you will find the Rama Overseas Ltd. office. Kolkata is a city that never really stops, and Tiljala Road is a perfect example of that constant movement. Our building is right in the thick of it. Inside, it’s usually a bit of a mess with papers and boxes because that’s just the nature of what we do. Dealing with overseas business means we are often on the phone at odd hours or waiting for emails from different time zones. It’s not a glamorous lifestyle by any means. The office is functional, but it definitely shows its age in some spots. We don’t spend much time worrying about the decor; we are more concerned with getting the paperwork right so things don't get stuck at the border. The humidity in West Bengal can be tough on the old files, and sometimes the power goes out, leaving us all sitting in the dark for a bit. We’ve been at this location for years and have gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. It’s a lot of hard work and keeping track of tiny details that most people would find boring. We don't have any big mission statements or fancy brochures to hand out. We just keep the business running from this little corner of Kolkata, day in and day out.
