Mayborne Leather

Mayborne Leather is located at number 23 on Gora Chand Lane. We are pretty close to Pak Crcus, which is a landmark most people in the area recognize. Our place is more of a workshop than a fancy store. We work with leather all day, so the whole building has that specific smell of tanned hides. It’s a narrow lane, and it can be a bit tricky to find if you aren't looking for the number. We have a small team here cutting and stitching. The lighting isn't the best, but we have lamps at every station. We’ve been in this spot for several years now. We don't make a lot of noise about what we do; we just focus on getting the orders out. There are scraps of leather on the floor and tools scattered on the benches. It’s a real working environment, not a showroom. Sometimes the neighbors pop in to chat. We aren't trying to be a big brand. We just like making things that last. Pak Crcus is always busy, so once you get off the main road and into Gora Chand Lane, it gets a bit quieter. We keep the doors open when the weather is nice to get a breeze through the workspace. It’s just us doing our daily work with our hands and keeping the business going. We value the craft and the time it takes to do things right.
