Goodwill Leather Art

We are located at 128 Topsia Road. If you know this part of the city, you know it is where a lot of the leather work happens day and night. Goodwill Leather Art is not a big fancy factory, just a place where we handle different leather goods and get them ready. The smell of the raw hides is something you never really stop noticing, though it feels weaker as the afternoon goes on. We spend a lot of our time cutting and checking the edges of the pieces to make sure they are right. It is honest, heavy work. The floors are usually covered in small scraps of brown and black leather by the time we close up for the evening. We have a few old machines that have been with us for years, and they make a specific rhythmic sound that we have all grown to find quite comforting while we work. It is not a quiet place, but it is a productive one. People come by asking for specific items, and we just show them what we have sitting on the racks. We do not go for a high-end boutique look because that is not who we are. It is more of a workshop where things actually get made by hand. Sometimes the rain makes the road outside a mess, but we stay dry inside and keep working through the piles. It is just us doing what we know.
