We are located at No. 35 B Topsia Road South. This part of town is synonymous with the leather industry, so it makes sense for us to be here. The area around Topsia Road is always busy with small workshops and larger facilities all working on similar things. Our building is a practical space where we handle the impex side of things. It’s not a corporate office with glass walls; it’s a real working environment with people coming in and out all day. There is always the sound of traffic and the general hustle of South Kolkata just outside the gates. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at samples. The floor is usually covered with scraps or bundles of leather waiting to be processed or shipped out. We have a small team here, and we all pitch in with whatever needs doing, whether it’s moving boxes or doing the accounts. It’s a bit hot in the summer months because the building traps the heat, but we just keep the fans running. We don’t have any fancy signage or a big marketing budget. We just rely on the work we do and the connections we’ve built in the neighborhood over the years. It’s a messy, busy place, but it’s our place, and we get the job done without making a big fuss about it. We just stay focused on the leather.
