Our workshop is at 5/a Tiljala Lane. It’s a small lane, and if you aren't looking closely, you might miss the entrance. We work with leather here, so the smell of hides is the first thing you notice when you walk in. It’s something we’ve gotten used to over the years. The space is a bit cramped because we have rolls of leather stacked up in most of the corners. We aren't a big factory; it’s just a handful of us cutting and stitching. The floor is usually covered in small scraps of material by the end of the day. We don't have a fancy showroom. Most people who come here are looking for specific types of leather or want to see how we make things. The lighting isn't great, but we have some good lamps at the workbenches. Tiljala is a busy area with a lot of small trades going on, and we fit right into that. We take our time with the work because leather is unforgiving if you make a mistake. It’s a bit messy and loud with the sewing machines going, but it’s honest work. We don’t spend money on advertising or anything like that. People usually find us through word of mouth or because they’ve seen our stuff somewhere else. It’s just us doing what we know how to do, day in and day out, in this little corner of the city lane. It isn't easy work, but we like it.
