Peacock Leather

We have been here at No. 10 Canal South Road for a while now. If you are looking for us, we are right near the Vartman News Paper office. It is usually pretty busy around here with people coming and going. The shop isn't anything fancy, just a place where we work with leather all day. You can smell the hides as soon as you walk in the door. We spend most of our time cutting and stitching. Some days the sun comes through the front window and hits the workbench just right. We have piles of scraps in the corner that we never seem to clear out. The floor is a bit uneven, but we are used to it by now. Being near the newspaper office means there is always something happening on the street. Sometimes we stop for tea at the stall nearby when things get slow. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. People just know where we are. We try to keep things simple and just focus on the work in front of us. There is always a lot of dust from the leather, so we are constantly brushing off the tables. It is just a regular workplace with regular people. We keep our tools sharp and our heads down. If you walk past the newspaper office, you will see our sign soon enough. We just focus on the pieces we have to finish by Friday. It takes time to get things right and keep the tools in good shape.
