St Augustine'E Day School

St Augustine'E Day School is located at 64 Barrack Road, right in the Barrackpore P O area. It’s an old part of town with a lot of history, and the school fits right into that atmosphere. The building itself has that classic look you expect from this part of Bengal. We have been operating here for years, and the routine hasn't changed much. The kids start arriving early in the morning, many of them coming by bus or walking from nearby neighborhoods. Barrack Road can get a bit busy with traffic, but once you step inside the gates, it feels a lot more peaceful. We have classrooms spread across the floors, and they are usually filled with the sound of teachers talking and students shuffling their papers. It is not a silent place by any means. There is always a bit of a buzz in the hallways during the breaks between periods. We have a small staff room where the teachers sit and have their tea while they talk about the day’s work. The playground isn't massive, but it is enough for the kids to get some fresh air. We try to keep the grounds looking decent, though the old bricks show their age in some spots. It’s a very local kind of place. Most people around Barrackpore know exactly where 64 Barrack Road is because we’ve been part of the community for so long. We just keep doing our thing every day.
