Oaktree International School

Oaktree International School is actually located inside the MBC Business Center on Camac Street. We are up on the 6th floor in Block A-22. It is an interesting spot for a school because the rest of the building is mostly offices and businesses. You see a lot of people in suits in the lobby, and then you see the students coming in with their bags. The 6th floor is where all the classrooms and the main office are set up. We have tried to make the space feel less like a corporate office and more like a place for learning, but you can still tell it was designed for business. The hallways are a bit narrow, so it gets crowded when the bells go off and everyone moves at once. We get a good view of the city from the windows up here, which the kids seem to like. Camac Street is always blocked with traffic, so we tell everyone to leave early if they want to be on time. The lift is a bit small, so we usually have to go up in shifts during the morning rush. It’s a busy environment, but we have our own routine that works for us. We spend our time grading papers, talking to parents, and making sure the day goes smoothly for the students. There is always a lot of chatter in the halls between classes. We just do our best to keep things organized.
