Sri Ram Food Store

We’ve been here at Gokuldham Complex on Jessore Road for a while now. Most people know us because we’re right on the main stretch at 956. It’s just a regular food store where we try to keep the shelves full of what families around here need every day. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the mornings when the milk comes in, but we manage. We aren't a big supermarket or anything like that, just a local spot. My family helps out with the stock and the billing when things get busy. We try to listen when customers ask for specific brands of rice or spices we don't have yet. It’s a lot of work keeping track of everything, especially with the traffic on Jessore Road always humming outside. We spend most of our day checking expiry dates and making sure the vegetables look okay for the evening rush. It’s not fancy, but it works for the people living in the complex and the houses nearby. If you walk past, you’ll probably see us unloading crates or just chatting with a regular who stopped for some tea nearby. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us making sure things run. We like being part of the neighborhood. It’s nice to see the same faces every week. Most people just pop in for a few things they forgot to buy elsewhere. We keep the doors open late enough for the office crowd coming home.
