Subhiksha

Subhiksha is a small place located at IE-5/1 Aswininagar, in the Baguiati area of Kolkata. It’s not a big corporate setup at all. We are tucked away in a part of the city that is always bustling with people and local markets. Our space is modest. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles. Usually, there are just a couple of us here managing the daily tasks. Whether it’s answering the phone or sorting through some paperwork, we stay busy. Baguiati is a lively neighborhood, and we feel like we are a real part of it. We don't have a fancy mission statement or anything like that. We just opened our doors to provide whatever services we handle and we’ve been doing that ever since. Sometimes the shop feels a bit cramped when we have a lot of stuff coming in, but we make it work. We prefer it this way, keep it simple and local. People from the nearby streets stop by sometimes just to say hello or ask a question. We don’t use any slick marketing talk because that’s not who we are. We are just regular people working in Kolkata, trying to do a decent job every day. It’s a quiet life in a noisy city, and we are fine with that. We just focus on what’s in front of us and try to be helpful to anyone who comes to our door.
