Mani Square

Mani Square has a presence out here at Sodepur. The address is Pushpamanzil Gosthokanan, P.O: Sodepur, Kolkata 700110. It’s a bit of a distance from the main city center. This spot is more of a local office. It’s in a building called Pushpamanzil, which has its own charm, though it’s definitely seen better days. We’ve got a few rooms here where we manage things. It’s pretty quiet compared to the big mall everyone knows by the same name. We don't have crowds of shoppers or big neon signs. It’s just us and the daily paperwork. The area around Gosthokanan is mostly residential, so you see people going about their shopping or taking kids to school. We have a small sign on the door so people know they’re in the right place. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, chairs, and a lot of binders. We spend the morning sorting through the mail and the afternoon on the computer. Sometimes the water delivery is late, or we run out of pens, but it’s just the usual office problems. We like it here because it’s a bit more relaxed than the city. We can actually hear ourselves think. It’s not a high-pressure environment. We just make sure everything is ticking over like it should. We’ve been here for a while and the locals know us. It’s a simple, honest way to spend the workday in Sodepur. We just do our bit every day and head home.
