Sri Radha Krishna Stores

I've been here at Tegharia Jhow Tala for a while now. The shop is right on Rajarhat Road in Kolkata, not too far from Govinda Nibas. Most days start the same way. I get here early to open the locks and pull up the shutters. The dust from the road settles on everything, so there is always cleaning to do before the first person walks in. It gets quite busy outside with all the traffic going towards the airport or into the city. People around here in 700059 know the spot. We have different things piled up on the shelves. Sometimes it’s hard to find space for new stock. The fans hum all day because of the Kolkata heat. You see the same faces every morning and evening. Some people just stop by to ask for directions since we are near the main road. It isn’t a fancy place, just a regular store with stuff people need for their houses. I spend a lot of time checking the lists and making sure we haven't run out of the basics. When the rains come, the road outside gets messy, but life goes on. It's just a small business trying to keep things moving. We don't have any big signs or bright lights. Just the name Sri Radha Krishna Stores on the board. Usually, I'm here until late when the traffic finally starts to thin out. It's a lot of sitting and waiting, then suddenly everyone comes at once.
