Springfield Leather Pvt. Ltd. is based out of S-2b Kasba Industrial Estate Phase-iii. We have been here for a while now. Most days start pretty early because the industrial estate gets busy fast once the sun is up. There is always a lot of noise from the neighboring units, which you just get used to after a week or two. Our space here in Phase-iii is where everything happens. We spend a lot of time moving hides around and checking the quality under the lights. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, especially in the summer, but we keep the fans going. The smells of the leather are quite strong when you first walk in, but I don't even notice it anymore. Sometimes we grab tea from the stall down the road. It is just a normal place where people work hard. We have our desks and the workshop floor all in one area mostly. It’s not fancy or anything. Just a lot of tools, scraps on the floor, and people trying to get things done. When the trucks come to pick up orders, it gets a bit chaotic in the driveway. But we manage. It’s our spot in Kasba and it works for us. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing every single day without much fuss or complaining about the heat.
