Sooky Leather

Working out of Plot No. 73 in Udyan Industrial Estate No. 3 on Pagladanga Road is a bit different than being in a regular retail market. Sooky Leather is right in the heart of the industrial area, so there is always the constant sound of machinery and trucks going by. We handle leather here, which is a tough job and get quite messy sometimes. The air usually smells like hides and finish, and your hands often end up stained by the end of a long shift. Pagladanga Road is a busy stretch, and getting to Plot No. 73 can be a bit of a journey depending on how the traffic is moving that day. Inside the estate, it is all about getting the leather ready and making sure the piles are sorted. We do not have a flashy showroom. It is more about the old workbenches, the heavy cutting tools, and the stacks of material waiting to be processed. Most of our day is spent making sure the leather is handled the right way. It is hard work, but it is what we know how to do. The Udyan Industrial Estate is a practical place for a business like ours. We have been here for a while now and we know the other guys in the neighboring plots. It is a community of workers. Sooky Leather isn't about the glitz; it is about the raw material and the time it takes to finish it.
