You can find us at 22/B, Rajendra Mullick Street, right near Girish Park. It’s an old part of the city, and the building has seen better days, but it works for us. Soniraj Supari Private Limited is what we call ourselves. We deal with supari, which is a big deal in this neighborhood and has been for a long time. The streets are always narrow and packed with people, rickshaws, and handcarts. It’s a bit of a squeeze getting the heavy sacks in and out of the door, but we’ve gotten used to the chaos. Inside our space, it’s mostly just rows of bags and the distinct smell of raw betel nut. We don't have any flashy office furniture or air conditioning. Just a few desks, some old ledgers, and a lot of hard work. Our team is small, mostly locals who have lived around Girish Park their whole lives. We know the shopkeepers nearby and the guys who deliver the tea in those little clay cups. There’s no big corporate strategy here. We just buy the stock, process it, and move it along to the next person. Sometimes the rain floods the street a little after a big storm, and we have to lift everything off the floor quickly. It’s a bit of a headache, but we manage. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to keep the doors open.
