Hindustan Sweets

We are located right near the 8B bus stop by Jadavpur University. It is a busy spot and we have been here quite some time. Most days start early for us to get everything ready before the morning rush hits. Being so close to the university means we see a lot of students and teachers every day. People usually stop by while waiting for their bus or just walking through the neighborhood. We handle a lot of different sweets and snacks throughout the day. The shop isn't huge but we make it work. It can get pretty loud outside with all the traffic and people shouting for buses. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure the trays are full. Sometimes we run out of things faster than expected when it's a holiday or a big campus event is going on nearby. It’s just how it goes in this part of town. The staff here mostly lives nearby so we know the local faces. It's not a fancy place, just a regular shop where you can get what you need. We try to keep the counters clean and the service moving so nobody has to wait too long in the heat. There’s always something to do, whether it’s cleaning up or checking the stock in the back. The fans hum all day and we keep the glass cases wiped down. It's just a regular local shop and that's how we like it. That is pretty much our daily life here at the 8B stop.
