Sweet Dream Caterers

Sweet Dream Caterers is over at 3/A, Mahendra Bose Lane. It is a narrow little lane, and we have been working out of this spot for a good few years now. I still remember when we first started out, we did not have much besides a few big cooking pots and a lot of energy. Now we have got a bit more equipment, but the way we do things has not changed much at all. We mostly focus on getting the food to the table hot and making sure there is plenty for every guest to eat. People in this part of town know us for being pretty reliable. We do weddings, rice ceremonies, and even small house parties where the family just does not feel like cooking for ten or fifteen people. My cousins usually help out with the serving when it gets really busy during the wedding season. The kitchen is always a bit noisy with the sound of knives on boards and the big stoves going. It gets incredibly hot in there during the summer months, but that is just part of the job. We keep our recipes traditional, just like the way our mothers used to cook at home. We do not use any strange ingredients or fancy shortcuts. We just buy what is fresh in the local shops. If you walk down the lane, you can usually tell what is on the menu that day. We just hope the food speaks for itself.
