You can find Snacks & More over at RGM 8/353 on Bangalakshmi Adasaw Parishad Road. We are situated in the Rajarhat Gopalpur area of Kolkata, not too far from the Vaishno Devi Mandir. This whole thing started because we wanted to have a small business in our own neighborhood. It’s been a learning curve, for sure. We handle everything from the cooking to the daily shopping for ingredients. The road gets quite busy with people heading to the temple or just going about their day. We like being part of this community. It’s not a fancy setup, just a simple place where we serve what we know. Sometimes the power goes out or the rain makes things difficult, but we manage. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in Kolkata. We just want to stay open and keep the locals fed. The morning prep takes up most of our time before we open the doors to the public. We’ve met a lot of interesting people since we opened. Some stay for a chat while others are in a big hurry. We try to keep up with the pace. It’s a lot of standing on your feet all day, but that’s the job. If you’re ever walking down toward the mandir, you’ll see our sign. We just keep things moving one day at a time here. It's hard work, but we've gotten used to the daily routine of the shop.
