Gunchi Munchi

Gunchi Munchi is located at 2, Surya Sen Street. It is a small place on a street that always seems to have something interesting going on. The name Gunchi Munchi usually gets a little bit of a smile or a laugh from people who hear it for the first time, and we don't mind that at all. We are right there on the ground level, so it is very easy for people to just walk in straight from the sidewalk. Surya Sen Street has its own unique character, with many old buildings and a lot of foot traffic throughout the day. We aren't a big corporate chain or anything like that. We are just a local spot where we try to keep things as simple as possible. The interior of our place is pretty basic because we spend much more time on the actual work than we do on the decorations. You can usually hear all the sounds of the street coming right through the front door—people shouting to each other, horns honking, and the usual city noise. We have become a bit of a fixture on this specific block over the years. Some days are much faster than others, but we just take the work as it comes to us. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone like that. It is just us and the work we do every day.
