Pachos

We've been here at 13/1, Block B in Bangur Avenue for a while now. Kolkata is a busy city, but this corner of Bangur Avenue feels a bit like home to us. Most days, we just open up and start getting things ready before the lunch rush kicks in. It isn't anything fancy or high-end, just a place where we try to get things right. The streets outside get pretty crowded with people walking to work or heading back home, and we see the same faces quite often. Sometimes the weather gets really humid, but we keep the fans going and stay busy in the back. People stop by when they’re hungry or just need a break from the noise outside. We don’t really do big advertisements or anything like that. Most folks find us just by walking past or hearing about it from a neighbor. The building itself is old, but it works for what we do. We spend a lot of time cleaning up, making sure the tables are set, and checking that we have enough supplies for the day. It’s hard work, but it keeps us on our toes. There’s always something that needs fixing or a customer who has a specific way they like things done. We just take it one day at a time here in Block B. If you’re around the 700055 area, you’ll likely see our sign. It’s a simple setup, nothing more, nothing less.
