We operate out of the Chatterjee International building, specifically at the IFCI Limited regional office on the third floor. This is 33A in Kolkata. Our daily work involves the sugar and refinery business. It is a very busy environment because so many different companies have their offices in this same building. We usually try to arrive early to beat the big rush for the lifts. Most of the time, we are busy handling the small details of how the refinery runs. It involves a lot of back-and-forth communication on the phone and through mail. The office is tucked away and stays fairly busy from early morning until the sun goes down. We do not really do much in the way of public displays; it is mostly just administrative work happening here. Kolkata is a big hub for this kind of trade, so being in a central spot really helps with the mail and getting to meetings. The address is 700071, right in the middle of everything. We focus on the daily tasks of the sugar industry, checking reports and making sure the refinery processes are being followed correctly. It is a lot of routine, but it is what we know how to do. Sometimes the air conditioning in the building is a bit too cold, so we keep sweaters at our desks. It is just a normal workplace with regular people doing their jobs.
