Shyam Trading

Our place is called Shyam Trading and we are right in the middle of Bara Bazar near the Central Bank. If you know the area you know how crowded it gets especially on market days. There is always someone trying to push a cart through or people shouting prices across the street. We sit in a small shop where the shelves go all the way up to the ceiling. It is a bit dark inside but we have a couple of fans that keep the air moving so it is not too bad. Being near the Central Bank is handy because that is where most of the foot traffic happens. We spend the day dealing with different traders and regular folks looking for a good price. Sometimes we lose track of time because there are no windows in the back part of the store. The floor is old stone and it has worn down in the spots where we stand the most. We do not use any fancy computers for everything just a lot of ledgers and pens that always seem to run out of ink when you need them. It is a noisy life in Bara Bazar but we like being where the action is. Dealing with people is the main part of what we do and we have seen all sorts over the years.
