Shree Stores

Shree Stores is located over in Phoolbagan, specifically near Cossipore on B T Road in Kolkata. If you know that area, you know how busy and crowded it gets with all the trucks and buses moving along the main road. Our shop is a small spot where we keep all the daily essentials that people in the Cossipore neighborhood need. We have been here for quite a while, watching the city change around us. The building is old, like many others in this part of Kolkata, and the walls have seen a lot of seasons. We stock things like pulses, rice, biscuits, and cleaning supplies. Most of our day is spent weighing out items and chatting with the people who live in the nearby flats. The noise from B T Road is always there, but we have gotten used to it over the years. It is a very simple operation. We do not have fancy lights or air conditioning, just a ceiling fan that does its best during the humid Kolkata summers. We keep our prices fair and our stock as fresh as we can get it from the distributors. People stop by on their way home from the station or the bus stop. We do not do any promotion because word of mouth in Phoolbagan is enough for us. It is just a humble place doing regular business every day of the week for the locals.
