Sarnath Cafe

Sarnath Cafe is located at 250, Block-A, Bangur Avenue in Kolkata. We’ve been here in West Bengal for a while, serving up coffee and whatever else people are looking for when they stop in. It’s a local neighborhood spot, nothing too flashy. We have some tables and chairs where people can sit and talk or just stare out the window at the street. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it feels like home to us. We aren't a big chain, just a small place run by people who live nearby. We spend our mornings getting the machines ready and making sure we have enough milk and sugar. Bangur Avenue gets pretty busy, so we see a lot of different faces throughout the day. Some people just want a quick tea on their way to work, while others stay for hours. We don't mind either way. We try to keep the prices fair and the food simple. It’s a bit noisy when the grinder is going, and sometimes we run out of the popular snacks before the afternoon is over. That’s just how it goes in a small kitchen. We don't have a big marketing team or anything; we just open the doors and see who comes in. It’s a simple life, making drinks and chatting with the regulars who’ve been coming here since we first opened our doors.
