Our office is on the 1st floor at 125, Netaji Subhash Road, right in the Bakshi Bagan area of Behala. If you know Kolkata, you know Behala is always buzzing with people and traffic. We’ve been at this spot for a long time. It’s an old building, and the stairs are a little narrow, so you have to be careful when you’re coming up. We handle all the club’s business from here. There are always members dropping in to pay their dues or talk about things, which keeps things interesting. We have a few old wooden desks that have seen better days and a lot of registers filled with names. The ceiling fans are always on because it gets quite stuffy in the afternoons. We try to keep the windows open to let some air in, but then you get all the noise from the street. It’s just how it is in 700034. We don't use a lot of fancy technology, mostly just pen and paper and one old computer that takes a while to start up. We’re a small team, and we’ve worked together for years, so we know each other's habits well. It’s a very relaxed place most of the time. We aren't trying to be something we’re not; we’re just here to make sure the club keeps running smoothly for everyone who uses it. It’s a lot of history in this building and we like it.
