Sadhana Stores

We are located in Sodepur, near the Subhash Nagar area in Kolkata. Sadhana Stores is a small place where we sell everyday groceries and some other bits and pieces. We have been in this spot for several years now. Most of the people who come here are from the nearby houses in Subhash Nagar. We keep the basics like mustard oil, different kinds of rice, and the usual spices people use in Bengali cooking. It’s not a fancy store with bright lights; it’s just a regular neighborhood shop. Sometimes the supply trucks have a hard time getting through the narrow lanes, but we manage to keep the shelves full mostly. We handle the customers one by one and it can take a bit of time if it’s busy in the evenings. We don't use any fancy advertising. People just know us because we’ve been here so long. The shop is a bit old, and the walls could probably use some paint, but it works for us. We start early to get the fresh stock ready for the morning rush. It’s a quiet life, just serving the community and making sure people have what they need for their daily meals. If you are in Sodepur, you can find us easily enough near the Subhash Nagar entrance. We’re just local people running a local business. We keep things going as long as we can each day.
