You can find us at Cz-24 in the Metropolitan Cooperative Housing Society. We’re right off Canal South Road. It’s a bit of a different setting for a business, being in a housing society area, but it works for us. Radiant Leather Solutions is where we handle all our leather work. When you walk in, the first thing you notice is the smell of the leather hides. Some people find it strong, but we don’t even notice it anymore. We have big tables for laying out the skins and checking for marks. It’s a very hands-on process. There are scraps of leather all over the floor by the end of the day. The building is just a standard block, nothing fancy. We have a small fan that rattles in the corner and a calendar on the wall that we use to mark deadlines. Canal South Road can get quite busy with trucks, especially near the water. We mostly stay inside and focus on the textures and the colors of the material. It’s a quiet kind of work, very repetitive but you have to pay attention. We don’t have a big sign outside, just a small one by the gate. Most people who come here already know who we are. It’s a practical, no-nonsense setup for working with leather.
