Pratahiki Food Products

We are located in Sirakole, right near the Sudhasimi Market. It is a busy area, especially on market days when the trucks are coming and going. Pratahiki Food Products started out small, mostly just making things for the neighbors, and now we have a bit more space to work with. We handle a lot of different food items here. The kitchen area is always smelling like spices or whatever we happen to be packing that afternoon. It gets hot in the summer, so we keep the back doors open to catch any breeze coming from the market side. Most of our staff live nearby, so they just walk or bike in. It’s not a big factory with machines doing everything; there’s a lot of manual work involved in getting the food ready and packed into bags. Sometimes the labels aren't perfectly straight, but the food inside is what matters to us. We try to keep up with the demand from the local shops, but some days are slower than others. If you're walking past the market, you'll probably see our sign. It's a bit faded from the sun, but it still shows the name clearly enough. We don't spend much time on paperwork or fancy meetings, mostly we are just busy with the production side of things. It keeps us on our feet all day long.
