Pailan World School

Our school sits on Plot B 187/206 in Phase 3 of the Bengal Pailan Park area, right beside IIM Joka. It is a bit of a walk from the main gate sometimes, but it is a quiet spot once you get here. We have been here in Joka for quite a while, watching the area grow and change around us. The school building is pretty straightforward. We have the usual labs, some classrooms, and space for the kids to hang out during lunch. We do not really go for all those polished marketing slogans you see elsewhere. We are just a group of teachers and staff trying to help kids get through their school years. It is a lot of hard work, especially when the weather gets humid, but we are used to it. The proximity to the IIM campus is a nice landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. Most of the people working here have been part of the Pailan World School family for years. We know the students by name and we know their families too. It is a very grounded kind of place. We do not try to be anything special, just a reliable school where the gates open every morning and the lessons start on time. Dealing with the daily routine is what we are good at, from managing the school buses to making sure the blackboards are clean for the next day. It's a simple life here.
