Oxford Tanners

Oxford Tanners is located at 93/4 on Karaya Road. It is a pretty straightforward spot to find if you are in the neighborhood. We work with leather here, specifically the tanning part of the process. It is a dusty and tough job, but it is what we do. The building is old and shows its age, but it serves its purpose. Karaya Road is a busy street with lots of movement. We have been at this address for quite some time now. The work involves a lot of manual labor and being on our feet all day. It’s not the kind of place you see in a magazine. It is a working tannery. We have stacks of hides and various vats and tools spread across the floor. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped, especially when we have a big shipment coming in or going out. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting room. If you come by, you'll probably see us right in the middle of working. We take pride in the leather we produce, even if the process is messy. It is a local operation and we know most of the people on the street. We just keep doing what we know how to do. There is no need for big words or complicated explanations. We just tan leather at our spot on Karaya Road and that is enough.
