Neptune Leather

Our place, Neptune Leather, is located at B/31/h/3 Palm Avenue. It’s a bit of a quiet street compared to some of the main roads, which we actually quite like. The building is just a regular spot where we handle all our leather work. When you walk in, the first thing you notice is the smell of the hides—it’s very strong and stays with you all day. We aren't a big factory or anything; it’s more of a workshop where we spend our time cutting and prepping leather. There are scraps on the floor and tools scattered across the benches most of the time. It’s not the neatest place, but it’s where the work happens. We’ve been at this for a good while now, and we’ve gotten used to the quirks of the building and the neighborhood. People from around Palm Avenue know us, and we get a lot of visitors just by word of mouth. We don't spend money on big ads or anything like that. We just focus on the leather and try to make sure we’re doing a decent job with what we have. It’s heavy work and can be hard on the hands, but it’s a living. We don't try to make it sound like more than it is. It’s just us, some leather, and a lot of everyday effort to keep things going. Sometimes the dust gets everywhere, but that's just leather work.
