Navshi Leathers Private Limited operates from the first floor of the building at 71 Tiljala Road. Tiljala is a well-known area for leather work, so we are right in the heart of where all that happens. The smell of leather is very strong around here, and it’s something you just get used to after a couple of days. Our workshop is up a flight of stairs that can be a bit narrow, especially when we are trying to carry large hides up to the work floor. It’s a hands-on kind of place where we spend the day cutting, thinning, and stitching leather products. We don’t have any polished floors or air-conditioned waiting rooms; it’s a working shop through and through. The light comes in through the big windows, and we have benches lined up where the craftsmen do their thing. Sometimes the traffic on Tiljala Road is so loud we have to shout to be heard over the trucks, but that’s just part of being in this neighborhood. We’ve been at this for a while and have a steady flow of work that keeps us coming in every morning. We don’t do any fancy promotions or have a big sales team. We just focus on making sure the leather goods we finish are decent enough to keep our clients coming back to the first floor. It’s a simple, hardworking life we’ve got here.
