A. D Photography is located at No. 97/3 on Naskarpara Road. I’ve been at this address for several years now. It’s a typical street with a lot of movement and noise. The studio is just a part of the building where I’ve set up my gear. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when I have more than two people in here. I started out with just a basic camera and a tripod. Over time, I’ve added bits and pieces, but it’s still a very simple operation. Naskarpara Road is where I grew up, so I know almost everyone on the block. They come to me for their family photos or when the kids need something for school. I don’t use a lot of fancy backdrops, just a couple of plain ones that do the job. The walls are covered with some of my favorite shots from over the years. Some are a bit faded from the sun. I don’t have a big sign outside, just a small one near the door so people don’t miss the entrance. It’s a honest way to earn a living. I spend a lot of time cleaning the lenses and checking the prints. Sometimes the humidity makes the paper curl a bit, so I have to be careful with storage. It’s just me running the show here, from taking the pictures to doing the final delivery. I keep things moving and try to stay on top of the pile of prints.
