My name is Avijet Dey and I have a small shop at 150 Amherst Street. It’s located directly opposite the LDV Hospital, so it’s a very easy place to find. The street is always full of people, especially those visiting the hospital. My shop is a simple, one-room space. I don't have any big staff or fancy computers. It’s just me and the things I sell. I’ve been in this spot for many years now. The walls are a bit old and the shelves are made of simple wood, but they hold everything I need. I spend my whole day here, from the morning until it gets dark. It’s a modest way to live, but I enjoy being part of the Amherst Street community. I see the same faces passing by every day. I don’t use any marketing tricks or try to act like a big corporation. I just run my shop honestly. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded inside when a few customers come at once, but we manage fine. There isn't much to say about me other than I am a local shop owner doing my best. I keep the place tidy, though it’s naturally a bit worn down from years of use. If you’re ever near the hospital, you’ll see my shop right across the road. It’s just a regular part of the neighborhood, nothing more and nothing less. I stay open late most nights too.
